THE PATHWAY

The Spotlight is a launchpad for emerging musicians, designed to bring professionalism and purpose to the local music scene. Free to apply, this event is open to all artists performing original music. Each performer gets three rotating 5-minute sets, allowing them to engage the audience throughout the night. Top acts are rewarded with cash prizes — $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd. The 1st place winner also advances to the next stage of the Pathway series: "The Experience."

The Experience is the next stage in the Pathway series — a professional-level performance opportunity hosted at Liars, a larger venue equipped with a proper stage, sound, and lighting. Each artist is given a 30-minute set to showcase their music at its fullest potential. Artists can earn revenue through merchandise sales and a commission on ticket sales, making this not just a performance, but a business opportunity. The artist who sells the most tickets will earn the chance to move on to the final stage of the Pathway: The Mainstage.

The Mainstage is the final step in The Pathway — a celebration of talent, growth, and artistic ownership. Artists who reach this level gain access to a fully-backed headline concert, powered by Mindset Studios and its network. From custom stage design to full performance support, the event is built around their creative vision. As part of this stage, artists also receive exclusive discounts on professional services including music recording, video production, and live performance development — giving them the tools to elevate their craft and career.
